“Single Stream MRF” refers to a Materials Recovery Facility in the UK where all recyclable materials (like plastic, paper, metal, and glass) are mixed together in a collection truck, rather than being sorted by the depositor into separate commodities. The mixed recyclables are then sorted into distinct categories at the facility for further recycling.
